When you first arrive, the previously filled out online intake form will be gone over which includes information on your concerns, past history, medications, surgeries, etc. You will receive acupuncture for your first session.
Follow up visits include acupuncture and may also include other modalities like Tui Na massage, cupping, moxa, TDP lamp, acupressure, and you will usually also leave with suggestions for continued well being.

What should I wear for my session?

How many sessions does it take to see results?
We like to see immediate results, so usually after the first session, you should see some changes. But, it depends on the person and what is being treated. Sometimes it takes a few sessions to make a lasting change. Acupuncture is cumulative, so each session builds on the previous one, so that you have more results quicker that last longer each time.
